Skytanking starts operation and awarded into-plane contracts at the Indianapolis International Airport
Hambrg/Ft. Lauderdale; 24th November 2008: Skytanking today announced the initiation of service of the new jet-fuel storage and hydrant system at the Indianapolis International Airport.
Skytanking was awarded the contract in February by Indianapolis Fuel Facilities, LLC which is made up of the member airlines serving Indianapolis. Skytanking’s Management Team has been heavily involved since the award of the contract working side by side with the member airlines, Indianapolis Airport Authority and contractors, to meet construction deadlines and fuel quality requirements.
The new airport opened on November 11, 2008.
On the same day Skytanking started providing into-plane fuelling services to Northwest and Continental Airlines at the new Airport.
Indianapolis is Skytanking´s eleventh location in the U. S. and the eighteenth internationally.
