Skytanking Acquires the Business of Combined Refuelling Services at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport

Skytanking Holding GmbH is pleased to announce that today its wholly-owned subsidiary Skytanking B.V. has entered into an agreement to acquire the business of Combined Refuelling Services V.O.F. (CRS), a general partnership between Esso Nederland B.V., Chevron Netherlands B.V., Total Nederland N.V. and Statoil Fuel & Retail Aviation A.S. The completion of the transaction is subject to the relevant authority approvals.

CRS provides into-plane fuelling services at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport, which is the fourth largest airport in Europe. With this transaction, Skytanking enters the Dutch aircraft fuelling market for the first time and extends its presence to seven of the top ten busiest airports in Europe.

Skytanking is a subsidiary of Marquard & Bahls AG of Germany, a leading independent petroleum company. Skytanking provides a full range of aviation fuelling services including building, owning and operating aviation fuel storage and hydrant facilities, and providing into-plane services to airlines, airports and oil companies. In 2012, Skytanking handled more than 15 billion litres of Jet A-1 and refuelled 1.6 million aircraft. The company now operates at 54 airports in 12 countries in Europe, the USA, Asia and Africa.
