Fuel Quality

There is a common saying in the aviation fuelling business: “There is nowhere to stop for repairs at 30,000 feet”.

The clear message for anyone involved in aviation fuelling is that the quality control of jet-fuel is paramount. Skytanking works to procedures that meet the highest local and international standards for aviation fuelling, such as the Joint Inspection Group (JIG) Guidelines for Aviation Fuel Quality Control & Operating Procedures.

Skytanking is regularly inspected by airline and oil company customers to ensure these standards are being maintained in day-to-day operations.

In addition, Skytanking’s own Operations Support department ensures that all Skytanking locations are up-to-date with the latest developments in aviation fuel quality and operations.
