BP will retain a 49% shareholding in North Air, which provides into-plane fuelling and jet-fuel storage management services to BP and other oil companies at 17 airports in the United Kingdom, including Edinburgh, Glasgow and Manchester.
The acquisition of the majority share in North Air and entry into the UK market is one more step towards Skytanking's goal of being the preferred partner for oil companies that are reviewing their direct involvement in aviation refuelling operations in Europe and elsewhere.
Skytanking and BP look forward to developing North Air's presence in the UK fuelling market while maintaining the company's existing reputation for excellent safety and operational standards.
