Skytanking Signs Engineering Contract for Ho Chi Minh City International Airport

Skytanking has signed a contract to provide engineering services for a new fuel storage facility and a pipeline connection to the recently-built fuel hydrant at Tan Son Nhat International Airport that serves Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam.

The contract was signed between Skytanking and TAPETCO, a joint stock company set up by Southern Airports Corporation to build and operate fuel facilities at the airport. Skytanking will provide TAPETCO with a feasibility study, survey, design concept and front-end engineering design for the fuel facilities.

The work will be carried out by Skytanking's in house engineering team based at Brussels Airport and local partners in Vietnam. The contract starts in May and will be completed in the next 6 months.

TAPETCO selected Skytanking from 8 engineering companies that expressed interest after a competitive public tender that ranked bidders on price, the quality of the proposal, engineering experience and design approach.
